It went very smoothly. Our appointment was at 7:45am, but we didn't get in to see someone till about 10:45a. The appointment went about 15 minutes. SHe just asked us some basic questions, how we met, when we were married, looked through all our paper work. We chatted and she was very personable. It was a good experience

DORA Pilot Program [On K3 Visa]: Interview was for about 15 minutes. Basic questions and detailed document review. We were told that DORA does not allow for people to file an EAD concurrently. If, however, at the end of 70 days, you receive letter stating a delay of AOS approval and an appointment date, you could walk-in with an EAD application and have it approved on-site and walk-out with an EAD card on the date of this appointment.

We are currently going through the DORA program in Dallas, Texas.
We were advised to not waste the money filing for EAD and AP since the goal of this program is to complete the cases within 90 days.
Other than it taking longer than the stated 90 days, our AOS experience has been excellent.
Our AOS interview which was July 21, 2005 went very well. The officer who interviewed us said that it looked like we had everything in order and the case shouldn't take very long.
Hard to do the rating here since the people in the offices we have dealt with have been great. It's just the process that is taking too long. LOL
As of today, Nov. 8, 2005 we have heard nothing else

Our appointment was at 10:30 AM at 3010 N. Stemmons Freeway. We were going to meet our attorney at 10:15 AM. In the morning we went through the papers one last time and went out to have some breakfast. We got to the USCIS at 10:10 AM, right when Emma (our attorney) arrived.

We all went to the building together, and then went through security and the metal detector. The security guard told Emma to drop the letter in window 2. We sat down and Emma talked to us about what to expect, she also took all the original documents. She said she is going to be in charge of the originals and we will be in charge of the copies.
Our name was called at 10:29 AM (a minute before our appointment). We were pretty surprised because the place was packed!
All 3 of us went with the officer and he took a fingerprint... read complete review
